Albott Bonhomme was born under the dual sign of the sea and the tropical forest of the North West region, in 1963, at Baie des Moustiques. First, he grew up to be a fisher, and he lived in an intensive harmony with nature.
Bonhomme originally started his career by painting sea related-objects and portraits. Later on, he developed his own personal technique of research on drawing maps. In 1990, he has begun his career as a painter. He has focused on describing the movement of the birds living in the luxurious environment surrounded by vegetation. Nature has followed him and embraced him. It has chosen him to be a creator of a work of great value.
One thing is certain: the representation of the jungles deeply affect the artist – the message of love to our Mother Africa. Through his paintings, there exists a gesture of tender brotherhood in relation with those representing our roots. Moving from automotive technology to painting, Bonhomme cultivates this tenderness flowing from his personal style. Born in the North West region of Haiti, he witnessed every day, during his early childhood, the rich, green, and vivid vegetation and trees. This experience explains the meaning of love that dictates the profound variation of the greenest of the foliage and the water of the paradise, which represents a true magic guidance whose prosperous aspect into the greenest reinforces the impression of the myth.
Why Birds? The reason is they are unique. This impression of life that characterizes the birds of Bonhomme determines their guardian function in a strange world, which offers a lot to explore.
